What is a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)?

H Nu Energy’s PPA solution

H Nu Energy is a rooftop solar developer servicing the green-energy needs of top-notch industrial and commercial customers in India.

We install and operate solar plants within our customers’ premises under the OPEX or RESCO model via power purchase agreements (PPA). Since our solar tariff is much lower than the grid price, our customers save by consuming green energy with no upfront cost or long-term maintenance hassles.

PPAs are long-term agreements

A solar PPA is a long-term contract between a developer and a customer with suitable space to install an on-site solar PV system.

We do the work, our customers save

Under our opex offering we design, install, own, operate and maintain the solar PV system and sell the electricity generated to the customer at a fixed tariff, which is lower than the grid.

Aligned incentives

Incentives of both parties are completely aligned: the customer only pays (and saves) for the energy produced; the developer only earns revenues for the same.

No upfront costs or hassles

The customer pays no upfront costs (capex) for the solar PV system and only pays (and saves) for the energy produced; the developer only earns revenues for the same.

The customer enjoys the savings, energy security and sustainability of solar power delivered at a fixed tariff.
